Dr. Wendy Burstein
Dr. Wendy Burstein joined McDonogh Dental in 2004. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended the George Washington University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She continued her education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she graduated with honors. Dr. Burstein then went on to complete her three-year post-doctoral training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she received her specialty degree in Periodontics as well as a Masters in Oral Biology. Dr. Burstein is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Burstein focuses on all aspects of periodontal therapy and dental implants, including the diagnosis of treatment of periodontal disease, guided bone regeneration, periodontal plastic surgery, and dental implants. She takes pride in helping her patients restore their oral health in a warm and compassionate environment. Dr. Burstein communicates and works closely with the general dentists and other dental specialists in the community to provide continuity of care for the successful treatment of her patients.
